In observance of Memorial Day all Citizens State Bank locations will be closed on Monday, May 27, 2013.

Originally known as Decoration Day, a day set aside to honor fallen service men and women, Memorial Day has evolved to into a day Americans spend visiting cemeteries to decorate graves of loved ones. The three day weekend is also deemed the unofficial start of summer – a time for family get-togethers, barbequing, traveling, as well as visiting cemeteries to remember those no longer with us.
